YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Media. If you upload images or video footage to us, we store your files in a private, access controlled business account. We keep them for as long as we need them to deliver and support your order, including any follow up work such as New Footage Addition, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Your files are never public, are never sold, and are never shared with anyone outside The Casting Director’s Cut except the service providers named below who help us deliver your order. You can ask us to delete your footage at any time and we will do so, other than anything we are required to keep for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Use the contact link at the bottom of this page.
Contact forms. We store your contact form information on a secure server, and it may be reviewed solely by The Casting Director’s Cut for contacting you regarding your order.
Cookies and analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use this site, and Jetpack (by Automattic) for basic site statistics. These tools use cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. WooCommerce, our store platform, also sets cookies to remember what is in your cart. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though parts of the site, including checkout, may not work properly if you do.
Text messages and email. If you sign up for our waitlist, mailing list or class updates, we collect your name, email and, if you provide it, your phone number. If you opt in to text messages, we store the exact wording you agreed to along with the date and your IP address, as proof of consent. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message, or reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. We use Mailchimp to send email and SMS marketing.
Scheduling. Bookings for classes, consultations and coached sessions are handled through Acuity Scheduling, a third-party appointment system. Acuity receives the information needed to book and manage your appointment, such as your name, email and the details you provide on the intake form.
Payments. Purchases made on this site are processed through WooCommerce and Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our own servers; Stripe handles that in accordance with its own security standards.
WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the service providers named above, each of which processes it only to provide their part of the service: Google (analytics), Automattic/Jetpack (site statistics), Mailchimp (email and SMS marketing), Acuity Scheduling (bookings), Stripe and WooCommerce (payments), and Wordfence (site security). We may also disclose information if required by law.
YOUR RIGHTS OVER YOUR DATA
