1. LIE! You are never too old & you are never too late. Life experiences make you richer and this is one of the few industries where we desperately need a wide range of ages to fill the job.
2. LIE! There is no one else like you and that is your superpower.
3. LIE! I mean, what would be the point in requesting them? While we may not need to watch the entire self tape, we give every request a fair shot.
4. LIE! There is always enough time. This is a mindset trick. You always have enough time for the things that you value.
5. LIE! And get out of here imposter syndrome, no one invited you! You will always be learning & improving. That doesn’t mean you can’t start acting during the journey. You are ready and worthy of success and practicing your art as soon as you want to.
