Ever wondered how we view self tapes?

Swipe left, friends.

In case you didn’t know, this is how we view your self tapes.

Each tape gets uploaded to an Ecocast that we’ve created.

Some important facts for you to note about what you see:

We are able to sort by role, actor or by agency.

Once the Ecocast deadline has passed, we are no longer able to see any new tapes.

At this point, you’ll have to reach out to your reps and have them email us directly so that we can upload it to our site.

Which brings us to our next point:

Peep how Actor 1 labeled their clips.

This is a great example of how to properly label a self tape file.

Otherwise, our creative team is stuck clicking on files that read “IMG_7415.MOV”

The easiest way to label is as follows:

FIRST NAME LAST NAME TK 𝟭

FIRST NAME LAST NAME SC𝟭 TK𝟭

FIRST NAME LAST NAME SC𝟭 TK𝟮

FIRST NAME LAST NAME SC𝟮 TK𝟮

We know which role you’re reading for. But having your name (and especially) which scene/take is which is infinitely helpful to eliminate any possible hiccups when uploading and viewing your self tapes.
