Let’s talk about timelines on this fine post-strike Monday.

Now that we are finally in a post-strike Hollywood, when do you impatiently waiting for auditions to roll in?

How long is too long to be waiting around for SOMETHING to happen?

If you’ve been having these thoughts/concerns, well, you’re not alone.

And most importantly, they are more than valid.

We encourage you to remember that a post-strike era is still very much an industry collectively getting its ducks in a row and figuring this out.

This does not mean that starting today, you will have 3 pilot auditions and a co-star booking.

But we also encourage you to balance this with a mindful curiosity about how things are going.

Instead of needing things to happen by a certain time, cross things off your OWN to-do list by a certain date.

This may not get you the co-star booking in the exact timeline you had envisioned, but it will certainly get you there sooner.

Timelines are great for accountability, getting things done and pushing forward.

They are not great for preferred outcomes.

Be mindful and curious about your situation while also being realistic about the current climate.
