And understandably, numbers can sound overwhelming and even make you feel small.
So let’s talk about different numbers today.
Let’s talk about the numbers that actually 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.
How many of those submissions (especially for smaller roles) are filled with trained actors who have materials that showcase their strongest abilities?
How many of those actors who do get auditions are highly direct-able, pleasurable to work with and whose training has become so second nature, that their ability to break down and dissect a script in order to make smart, appropriate choices come naturally to them?
Let’s just say the numbers go down plenty from there.
